Randall (Randy) L. Anderson, 63, Hastings, Nebraska passed away at his home. Service will be Saturday, April 20, 2024, 10:30 a.m. at Merten-Butler Mortuary, Blue Hill, Nebraska with Ann Auten officiating. Burial will be in the Blue Hill Cemetery, Blue Hill, Nebraska. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to be designated at a later date. Randy was born on January 30, 1961 in Hastings, Nebraska. Randy was adopted by Edward and Donna Anderson. He graduated from Blue Hill High School in 1979. Randy married his high school sweet heart Julie and then later divorced. To this union three children were born; Nikki, Teresa and Andrew. Randy enjoyed working in Maintenance at the Blue Hill nursing home, Lee Townhouses and the Holiday Inn. He also worked as a tow truck driver for Island Towing. He was currently working as a property manager. Randy loved to hunt for rocks, camp and fish. Wherever he could throw a pole into the water he would.
Randy is survived by two daughters, Nikki Hanson (Mike Hoskins), Hastings, Nebraska, Teresa (Ryan) Friesen, Grand Island, Nebraska; one son, Andrew (Kaitlin) Anderson, Blue Hill, Nebraska; father, Edward Anderson, Ayr, Nebraska; three brothers, Terry Anderson, Lincoln, Nebraska, Clayton (Terese) Anderson, Lincoln, Nebraska, Jeff (Alice) Anderson, Hastings, Nebraska; three sisters, Sandy (Roger) Glenn, Dorchester, Nebraska, Patti (Jim) Schnase, Arizona, KayCe (Dean) Sheppard, Hastings, Nebraska; one sister-in-law, Bert Anderson, Colorado; ten grandchildren, Alyssa (Travis), Dylan, Isaac, Owen, Brady, Zach, Kadyn, Sierra, Tre and Kooper; four great grandchildren, Chevelle, Rosie, Dwight and Xander. Randy is preceded in death by his mom, Donna Anderson; two brothers, Ricky and David Anderson.
