Eileen M. Moser

Eileen M. Moser, 69, Bladen, Nebraska died Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Perkins Pavilion-Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.  Service will be Friday, February 22, 2019, 2:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Blue Hill, Nebraska with Pastor Leah Krotz officiating.  Burial will be in the Blue Hill Cemetery, Blue Hill, Nebraska.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2019 from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church.  Memorials can be directed to the Eileen M. Moser Scholarship fund.  Private condolences may be sent to the family at www.mertenbutlermortuary.com.  Merten-Butler Mortuary, Blue Hill, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements.

Eileen was born on June 23, 1949 at Red Cloud, Nebraska to Wilfred B. and Dolores M. (Seeman) Toepfer.  She graduated from Blue Hill High School in 1967 and from Kearney State College in 1971.  Eileen married Wayne J. Moser on November 26, 1976 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Blue Hill, Nebraska. 

She began teaching math (7th-12th grade) in 1971 at Hampton Public Schools for two years, then at Lawrence Public Schools for twenty-five years and then Blue Hill Public Schools for seventeen years.  She retired in 2015 after teaching a total of 44 years.  She was a very active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Blue Hill, Nebraska.

Eileen is survived by one son, Aaron Moser, Hastings, Nebraska; one daughter, Annette (Douglas) Lintz, Kearney, Nebraska; mother, Dolores Keenan, Blue Hill, Nebraska; two brothers, Gerald (Sue) Toepfer, Blue Hill, Nebraska and Kevin (Lori) Toepfer, Blue Hill, Nebraska; one sister, Carolyn (Robert) Willicott, Blue Hill, Nebraska; and three grandchildren, Andrik, Laiken & Annika Lintz.  Eileen was preceded in death by her father and her husband.
