JuneEtta Rae Zuellner, 77, Kearney, Nebraska passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in Kearney. Service will be Saturday, June 29, 2019, 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Campbell, Nebraska with Rev. Ronald Kuehner officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Campbell, Nebraska. Visitation will be Friday, June 28, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church and Mid Nebraska Individual Services, Kearney. Private condolences may be sent to the family at www.mertenbutlermortuary.com. Campbell Funeral Home, Campbell, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements. She was born to George and Mable (Meyer) Zuellner on June 6, 1942. She was baptized and a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Campbell. JuneEtta attended Hope Training School in Hastings and Campbell Public School. In October of 1979, JuneEtta moved to a group home run by Mid-Nebraska Individual Services in Kearney, Nebraska.
She was blessed with four nieces, a nephew and their spouses, 17 great nieces and nephews, and 34 great-great nieces and nephews and a stepsister, Rosella Zuellner of Castle Rock, Colorado. She had many friends in the Campbell community and was fortunate to have her Mid-Nebraska family for 40 years.
JuneEtta loved music, dancing (especially at weddings), babies, animals, Christmas, family gatherings, eating and having her fingernails polished.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Douglas, his wife, Maurine and her nephew, Joel.
Her surviving nieces are Judy (Rich) Menke of Lawrence, Janice (Mike) Lowry, Lexington, VA, Jennifer (Swede) Holmgren, Ellis, KS, Jocelyn (Bruce) Rundle, Hastings and Doris Zuellner, Campbell.
We would like to thank and praise the many individuals that have helped us make this final journey with JuneEtta to include Pastor Cooper, Pastor Kuehner, Pastors Michelle and Rick Carlson, the many past and present staff members of Mid-Nebraska Individual Services. You all have been a blessing and comfort to us.
