Tacy Ada Krull

Tacy A. Krull, 98, Hastings, Nebraska died Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Blue Hill Care Center, Blue Hill, Nebraska.  Service will be Saturday, March 2, 2019, 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Blue Hill, Nebraska with Pastor Leah Krotz officiating.  Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Blue Hill, Nebraska.  Visitation will be Friday, March 1, 2019 from 8:00 a.m-8:00 p.m. with family present from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Merten-Butler Mortuary and one hour prior to services at the church.  Memorials can be directed to the church.  Private family condolences may be sent to the family at www.mertenbutlermortuary.com.  Merten-Butler Mortuary, Blue Hill, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements.

Tacy was born on January 21, 1921 to Franklin R. and Anna M. (Uden) Hoagland in Adams County.  Tacy married John H. Krull on February 14, 1946 in Hastings, Nebraska and they were married for fifty three years before his death on July 12, 1999.  They farmed north of Blue Hill until 1982 when they retired and moved to Hastings.  Tacy had worked at the Blue Hill Care Center for 15 years as a cook.  Tacy was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed Quilting and Gardening. Showing many of her quilts and food at the fair.  She especially enjoyed being around her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Tacy is survived by three sons; Marlin (Jean Smith) Krull, Lincoln, Nebraska, Vernon Krull, Hastings, Nebraska, Burnell (Deb) Krull, Harvard, Nebraska, one daughter; Betty (Dennis) Eckhardt, Ayr, Nebraska, one brother; Clyde Hoagland, Hastings, Nebraska, one sister-in-law; Esther Hoagland, Juniata, Nebraska, nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; Ryan Krull (Kaleb and Zachary), Ankeny, Iowa; Christy Burnette (Austin Farber and Delaney Burnette), Lincoln, Nebraska; Kailey (Ryan) Mitchell (Aaron and Alexis), Albuquerque, New Mexico; Nicholas (Elizabeth) Patton (Alexander and Xavier), Millersville, Maryland; Erik (Michelle) Patton (Lucas and Aubrey), Albuquerque, New Mexico; Jackie (Russ) LeMunyan (Donna, Morgan and Abigail), Alliance, Nebraska; Daniel (Dawn) Krull (Caden Boyer, Milayna and Johnny) Harvard, Nebraska; Jake (Claire) Eckhardt, Arlington, Nebraska; Michelle (Jeff) Preston (Berklee and Beckett), Arnold, Nebraska, numerous nieces and nephews.  Tacy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and sisters-in-law; Louis (Mary) Hoagland, Melvin Hoagland; Ivan (Lavina) Hoagland; David Hoagland; Donna Hoagland.
