Gerald (Jerry) Ray Frazier

Gerald R. Frazier, 75, of Blue Hill Nebraska passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.  There will be no services.  His wishes were to be cremated.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mertenbutlermortuary.com.  Merten-Butler Mortuary, Blue Hill, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements.

Jerry was born December 31, 1946, to Charles R. and Wilma J. (Shaw) Frazier in Hastings, Nebraska. He attended Blue Hill High School and Graduated in 1965. After high school Jerry worked at Shaw Land Leveling in Holstein, Nebraska. Two years later he attended Barber school in Lincoln. Jerry also worked for the postal services for many years until retirement.

On February 12, 1966, he was united in marriage to Cynthia Gestring at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Blue Hill, Nebraska.  They were married for 16 years and had one son Todd.  Jerry was a loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Friend.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Wilma Frazier of Blue Hill; his son and daughter in law, Todd and Tami Frazier of Hastings; sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Bill Brewster of Blue Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Pat Frazier of Ayr; brother-in-law, David Kort of Blue Hill; sister-in-law, Deborah Frazier of Minden; grandchildren Jordyn and Stephen McConnell of Omaha, Garrett Frazier of Omaha, Cody Frazier of Grand Island and Markki and Michael Dahl of Hastings; great granddaughter, Brystol Dahl and a great grandchild on the way.  Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Charles Frazier; brother, Steve Frazier, one infant brother; sister Marge Kort; brother-in-law, Joseph McNeely III; niece Brandi Sund.
